Industry has laid out a roadmap for multi-core designs promising to double the number of cores on a chip with each silicon generation.
Since biological cognitive operating principles are naturally parallel, transferring them to technical systems will stimulate innovative products with new characteristics and a considerably higher user-friendliness.
This talk gives an overview on our approach to embedded multiprocessing in cognitive systems.
